It’s good to start the year as you mean to go on, and Superfood saw in 2014 onstage surrounded by mates, covered head-to-toe in champagne. “We were playing the Club NME party with Wolf Alice and Swim Deep,” explains singer Dom Ganderton. “We decided we should cover Robbie Williams’ ‘Millennium’ at about one in the morning. Aussie and Cav came on and there was so much champagne everywhere the stagehands were going crazy. I had my phone in my hand trying to read the lyrics of the second verse. I must have looked like such a plonker.”
